Well, yesterday I received a special gift gutiar, and I am sorry to say that the tradegy that befells a finely delicious guitar in transit has caught up with me. This one was fairly devastating, the guitar being completely broken into three pieces - the neck came right off at the body joint, and somehow, the almighty only knows how, the body was split right in two, right across the soundhole, almost following one half of an X brace. The strings, those multicoloured ones (Daddarios?), were completely ripped off and curled up at the headstock. It must have been some kind of voilent crash that did this ....

Oh well, at least its still edible I was thinking of using hot saliva glue to put her back together, then maybe add a cutaway .. or two !!! I am hoping that this is taken for the humor value that it provides - we all need a good laugh every once and a while, and the Big guy knows there has a been a rash of tragedies go thru us brethren of late ... cheers.

Man.... thats a bad one.
I don't want talk bad behind the builders back.... but that was a pretty crummy finish, wouldn't you say?

I do feel sorry about your loss, hopefully you had insurance.

And do beware, those guitars are know to cause severe belly akes! peterm39063.770787037

Ah yes, the rare and sought after Glutton model, even more rare than the Envy and Lust models.

(If you could only get chocolate scented finishes!)

OK, since no one else has said it:

Seems as if your experience with this guitar was bittersweet.

Maybe Howard, but it was all creamy in the end (more ways than one, but I will have to let my son Jonathan vouch for that )
